Doberman Pinscher is a very fierce dog breed, mainly used in military and police work. After training, it can become a search dog, hunting dog and shepherd dog. Moreover, Doberman Pinscher has a compact body, perfect and smooth structural lines, chest and head held high, eyes intelligent and sharp, plus a pair of erect ears, this appearance is simply too high! It is more appropriate to say that it is a model in the dog world, and it has a very good temperament.
At the end of the 19th century, a tax collector and dog catcher named Louis Doberman wanted to raise a fierce dog to protect his safety while performing his duties, so he bred a super dog with the advantages of Rottweiler, Manchester, Portheron and Greyhound. Much later, another breeder, Otto Geller, improved Doberman's guard dog. All those who love the Doberman Pinscher breed in the world will always remember that in 1900, this dog was officially recognized and detailed standards were established, and the dog was named after its breeder, Louis Doberman.
The body shape of Doberman Pinschers is more refined and well-proportioned than the early breeds. Of course, they are still masters of fighting and highly alert guards, and their position in the top ten popular dog rankings remains high.
In terms of personality, female Dobermans are quiet, sensitive, love family members, and are wary of strangers; males are very smart, but fierce, impulsive, aggressive, vigilant, brave and loyal, and have long-lasting endurance. They need strong and powerful owners to control them, so there is a saying that "there are no bad Dobermans, only bad owners." It is agile, flexible, and coordinated, has an innate noble temperament, is not afraid of strangers, and has good learning ability.
Dobermans are heat-resistant and cold-fearing, suitable for urban life. They have short fur and do not need to be combed frequently. They are easy to train, but not easy to get along with other dogs. They are prone to bloating, hip dysplasia, heart problems, and a blood abnormality called WILLEBRAND’S.
