Form
The Amazon weasel is a small mammal that is about 40 cm long from the tip of the nose to the tail. Like other weasels, the Amazon weasel has short legs. They are very similar in appearance to the long-tailed weasel. Both have brown fur, pale faces, and no facial markings. The only noticeable difference between them is the dark brown stripes along the belly of the Amazon weasel.
