Details
Balinese cats are produced by natural mutation or hidden genetic traits of Siamese cats, so they were originally called long-haired Siamese cats. Balinese cats originated in the United States. They are long-haired mutants found in the offspring of Siamese cats raised by Mrs. Beren Smith in New York State, USA at the beginning of this century. They were bred through a series of selection, purification and breeding. They were first recognized in the United States in 1963 and are now one of the most popular breeds around the world.
The Balinese cat has smooth and beautiful fur and an elegant body. Animal experts named it because of its beautiful body shape and graceful movements, which reminds them of the postures of indigenous dancers from Bali, Indonesia. In fact, it has no geographical relationship with Bali.
Balinese cats are active and good at hunting, so the courtyard is more suitable for them. The coat is easy to care for, and you only need to comb it once a week. Balinese cats are active and busy all day long, always hanging around their owners. They are emotional, playful, and talkative, and they communicate with their owners whenever they get a chance. Their curiosity never seems to be satisfied. Balinese cats are beautiful, elegant, lively, cute, and loyal companion animals. One of their favorite things to do is to snuggle in their owner's arms and act like a spoiled child. Balinese cats don't shed much.

Form
The Balinese is basically a long-haired Siamese cat, also with a slender body. Compared to other long-haired cats, the soft mink-like coat is shorter and has no ruff. It has a slender, slim body, well-developed muscles, and the hair is about 5 cm long and has the same color as the Siamese cat. Overall, the Balinese cat is an elegant and very conspicuous cat. The characteristic of this breed is a gorgeous and large long tail. It has the same medium-slender body as the Siamese cat, but the fur is as soft as silk and the hair is medium-length, up to 50 mm. However, the Balinese cat does not need to be combed as carefully as other long-haired cats.
