Some estimates of Dreadnought suggest the dinosaur weighed as much as an airplane.
Dreadnoughtsaurus is another large titanosaur from Argentina. It lived at the same time as Puertalosaurus.
The extreme mass of this dinosaur is somewhat controversial, as the animal was probably about the same length as Diplodocus, which weighed only 15 tons.
Preliminary estimates indicate that the Dreadnaught weighs more than a Boeing 737 aircraft, exceeding 59 tons. Subsequent calculations based on body volume models rather than leg bone circumferences reduced the animal's weight to 22 tons. Other estimates place it somewhere in between.
