Details
Perdicula erythrorhyncha, also known as Painted Bush-quail, has two subspecies.
Red-billed tubs usually gather in groups of 6 to 10 individuals. Move around in open grass or in the grass beside forest roads and driving tracks, eating and sandbathing in the morning and evening. Groups quickly gather around each other by calling and Shouting.
Listed on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) 2016 Red List of Threatened Species ver 3.1 - Not Threatened (LC).

Location
It is found in India. It is mainly found in mountain forests. Only 2 subspecies, spot subspecies (Perdiculaerythrorhynchablewitti), distributed in the northern mountains of eastern India. The named subspecies is found in the western Caucasus (south of Pune), the Nilgiris, and the hills of southern India (including Biligirirangans and Shevaroys).
Form
The body length is 16-18 cm, 50-85 g. The quail has a deep red overall plumage and a deep red beak and legs, which make it more visible in flight. The female has a brick-red underbody and lacks the white throat and head stripes of the male. The male bird has a black cheek and a white range with a super large throat.
