The Central African crested Guineafowl (Guttera plumifera) is known as the Plumed Guineafowl and has two subspecies.
Listed on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) 2016 Red List of Threatened Species ver 3.1 - Not Threatened (LC).

Location
It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
Form
The Central African Crested chicken is 51 cm long and weighs 750-1000 grams. Found in the moist virgin forests of Central Africa. It is a species of Coryneus, but has a straighter (non-curly) and higher crest, as well as relatively long brambles on either side of the species' beak. There are two subspecies, the bare skin on the face and neck of the named subspecies is completely dull gray-blue, while the gray-blue of the eastern subspecies has some orange spots.
