It is distributed in the extreme south of China, including Taiwan and Hainan. Abroad, from India, Sri Lanka, through Bangladesh, Myanmar, Indochina Peninsula, east to the Philippine Islands, south through the Malay Peninsula, Indonesia, Irian Island and the eastern coast of Australia.
