Form
Small (28 cm) green fruit dove. The head is white, the chin is black and the chest band is purple. The lower chest is grey-green, the abdomen is milky white, the lower tail cover is light yellowish-brown, the upper body is green, and the flight feathers are black. Female without white head but with thorax band. The young are the same as the female but without a breast strap. Iris - red; Mouth - yellow, wax film red and yellow; Feet - Pink.
