Falco severus Detailed Introduction

The fierce falcon is a bird of the genus Falconidae. It is similar in size to the swallow falcon, and its cry is similar to the cry of the yellow-clawed falcon - "ke-ke-ke-ke". It mainly feeds on Coleoptera insects, small birds and bats, but also eats mice and lizards.

The breeding period is from April to June. They usually use the old nests of crows and other birds on tall trees on the edge of steep cliffs, and occasionally build their own nests on the rocks of the cliffs, but the nests are extremely simple and rough.
