Deepwater turtles usually need to swim, hunt and breathe in the water, so they need a pool large enough to provide appropriate living conditions. Although deepwater turtles don't need to bask in the sun as much as land turtles, they do need some light to stay healthy.

The following are several types of deepwater turtles that do not require a balcony:

1. Blue-headed turtle: This turtle is distributed in Southeast Asia and likes to swim in clear rivers and lakes. They are relatively small turtles that can grow and breed in home aquariums.

2. Terrapin: The Terrapin is a freshwater turtle that lives in North and Central America. Its main feature is its excellent aquatic adaptability. Aquatic turtles require a pool of sufficient depth to meet their swimming needs.

3. Turtle: The tortoise is a freshwater turtle that lives in Africa and South America. It is generally considered to be one of the easier turtles to keep. Tortoises will receive sunlight when living in the wild, but in home breeding, they only need appropriate light to maintain health.

In short, although some deep-water turtles do not need a basking platform, they still need to provide an appropriate environment and living conditions, including a large enough pool, good eating habits and appropriate lighting.
