Gas in dogs often presents with the following symptoms:
1. Usually, obvious abdominal distension occurs after eating. The abdomen is overly distended, full of gas, and causes discomfort and pain.
2. The dog will show symptoms such as moaning, wailing, abdominal distension, vomiting, loss of appetite and concentration, and paralysis. Sometimes it may be accompanied by diarrhea, difficulty breathing and other discomforts.
3. If your dog has diarrhea or poor defecation, it is most likely caused by abdominal distension.
If all of the above symptoms exist, it most likely indicates that the dog is experiencing bloating symptoms. If these symptoms are severe or questionable, it is recommended to promptly ask a veterinary professional for assistance in examination and treatment. For some small dogs and some large dogs, flatulence can sometimes cause serious health problems and even lead to death. Therefore, if you encounter flatulence, you must deal with it in time.
