Can dragonflies be raised?

Keeping dragonflies is not recommended and they are not generally common pets. Raising dragonflies requires simulating their environment in the wild, providing them with conditions and food similar to their natural habitat, which can be quite difficult.

Dragonflies are insectivorous insects. They need to constantly fly to prey on other insects. At the same time, their bodies also need sufficient space to fly. In general, due to various complex needs and dependence on natural ecosystems, we generally do not recommend keeping dragonflies as pets. If you are interested in observing dragonflies, the best way is to do so in their natural environment.
