1. Meilong

So named because the skeleton resembles a sleeping bird

Mediosaurus was a duck-sized dinosaur classified in the theropod suborder Troodon. The skeleton of Meilong preserves a sleeping posture, hence its name. Its head is curled up under its wings, resembling a bird sleeping in its nest. This behavior is similar to that of birds. This shows that not only the skeletal shape of Troodon is similar to that of birds, but also its behavior is the most closely related to birds. Meisaurus is a carnivorous dinosaur, about 0.5-1 meters long, which lived in the early Cretaceous period.

2. Cryolophosaurus

First carnivorous dinosaur discovered in Antarctica

Cryolophosaurus, also known as Cryospinosaurus or Frozoceratops, is a large bipedal theropod dinosaur with a strange crest on its head that looks like a Spanish comb. Cryolophosaurus is a carnivorous dinosaur about 6 meters long. It lived in the early Jurassic. Its survival can be traced back to the Prinsbachian stage of the Early Jurassic. It is the earliest tetanosaur dinosaur.

3. Big-eyed Ichthyosaurus

Bigeye Ichthyosaur has the largest eyes among ichthyosaurs

Bigeye Ichthyosaur is a medium-sized carnivorous ichthyosaur from the late Jurassic. It lived in the vast ocean and was a viviparous animal, and would only come close to the shore when giving birth. They were probably quite fast swimmers and hunted down squid and fish with their long, toothless mouths, and Bigeye Ichthyosaurus could have been up to 5 meters long.

4. Amagalon

A very strange sauropod dinosaur

Amagasaurus, a member of the family Trisauridae, is a vegetarian dinosaur with a length of about 13 meters and lived in the late Cretaceous period. The two rows of spines on the back of Amagasaurus are connected by a layer of skin, which makes its neck and back look like it has two fins.

5. Suzhou Dragon

The strangest looking dinosaur

Suzhousaurus is a genus in the superfamily Therizinosaurus and lived in the early Cretaceous. The currently known fossils were found in the Xinminpu Group in the Yujingzi Basin, Gansu Province, China, and include partial skull and upper limb fossils, confirming that they belong to the superfamily Therizinosauridae. They look like giant turkeys that have lost their feathers.

6. Liopleurodon

Spend your whole life in the water

Liopleurodon, which means "smooth side tooth", was a carnivorous marine reptile that in the late Jurassic period, their stocky figures wandered around powered by four medium-sized paddle fins , with an average body length of 6 meters, lived from about 160 million to 155 million years ago. 7. Spiny-nosed Qingdao dragon

The first complete dinosaur fossil discovered in my country

Spiny-nosed Qingdaoosaurus lived in the late Cretaceous. Its fossils were discovered in Shandong Province, China. It is the most famous crested duck-billed dinosaur fossil discovered in China and the first complete dinosaur fossil discovered in China. The existing specimens are preserved in Museum of Paleozoology of China. It is not good at running and lacks self-defense weapons. It is only suitable for survival in freshwater lakes.

8. Westonychus

The smallest North American carnivorous dinosaur

Westonychus belongs to the family Dromaeosauridae and is a small carnivorous dinosaur. The fossil was discovered in the Dinosaur Park Formation in Alberta, Canada. It dates from the Campanian stage of the late Cretaceous period. It lived about 75 million years ago. It was less than 1 meter in length and weighed about 1.9 kilograms. Westonychus already had bird-like characteristics and may have had the ability to fly or glide.

9. Griffin Dragon

Related to the Loving Mother Dragon

Griffinosaurus, also known as Monsterosaurus, is a genus of dinosaurs under the family Hadrosauridae that lived in North America during the Upper Cretaceous (Santonian to Campanian), about 83 million to 75 million years ago. Griffinosaurus has a hooked nose, a "cockscomb" on its head, and its mouth is like a duck's mouth. Even though the small hands of Griffinosaurus are longer than those of ordinary dinosaurs, in fact it mostly uses its nose when fighting.
