Turiasaurus lived in the late Jurassic period about 155-146 million years ago. The skeleton of this giant sauropod was discovered in Spain, making Turiasaurus the largest dinosaur ever found in Europe.
Paleontologists found fragments of the dinosaur's skull and estimated its head to be 70 centimeters long. Fossils of Turiasaurus' forelimbs, teeth, vertebrae and ribs have also been excavated.
