Location
It lives on Nosy Bé Island in the Antsiranana province of Madagascar, and around the village of Manehoka in the interior of the island, including the Lokobe Reserve.
Form
Claire's dwarf lemur weighs 60 grams, which is average for its genus. Total length is 26-28 cm, including the 15-17 cm tail. The fur on the upper body is reddish brown, darkening in the middle of the back. The tail is also reddish brown, but the underbelly is white or creamy white.
