Cebus albifrons Life habits and morphological characteristics

There is white hair on the forehead, a heart-shaped tuft of black hair on the top of the head, and the tail end is curled into a circle. All species have 36 teeth; there are no cheek pouches or anal calluses; the fingers and toes are slender, with flat or curved nails. Some thumbs are degenerate, while others are highly developed; the nostrils are facing both sides; the tail hair is mostly dense and long, with a hairless area at the lower part of the tail end, the skin is thick, and can grasp things; the hair color is dark gray, brown, reddish brown and black.

White-fronted Capuchin, also known as Cebus albifrons, lives in trees in tropical forests and rarely comes to the ground except for drinking water. It is agile, good at jumping and swimming. It lives in family-style groups, and each group has its own territory. Some like to eat fruits, leaves and flowers, while others like to eat insects, lizards and birds. It is active during the day. It gives birth to one baby per litter. It is relatively docile and easy to raise. It can be used for viewing.
