Distributed in India and Sri Lanka.
The head and body of the Tasseled Gray Langur are 55-70 cm long, the tail is 75-90 cm long, and the weight is 11-20 kg. Males are larger than females. The back of the body is gray to brownish gray, darker with age. The underside is light gray. There are short white whiskers around the cheeks. The hair on the top of the head forms a distinct tuft or crown, meeting at a central point, hence the name. The black eyebrows protrude outwards. The hair on the head is lighter or not lighter than the back. The hands and feet are the same color as the limbs.
