In April 2003, the female giant panda "Yaya", who had been in the United States for 10 years, left the Memphis Zoo in Tennessee, USA, on the morning of April 26, 2023, embarked on a journey back to China, and landed in Shanghai. So happy to hear this good news! Giant pandas are China's national treasure and they are popular and watched around the world. As far as I know, giant panda Yaya obtained a breeding license in 2023. This is the first time since 1987 that a panda has left the United States and returned to China. This marks another new progress in exchanges and cooperation between China and the United States in protecting giant pandas.

The return of giant panda Yaya will also promote cooperation and exchanges between China and the United States in the ecological environment and jointly create a better earth home.
