Mountain Tit Babbler likes to live in small groups in thorny oak woods and forests, and migrate down in winter.

Location
Endemic to central China and southeastern Tibet.
Distribution in China: Qinghai (Banma, Angqian), Gansu (Wenxian, Zhouqu), Tibet (Mangkang, upper reaches of the Lancang River in Qamdo, southwest), Sichuan (Kangding, Batang, Baiyu, Songpan, Ruoergai, Baoxing), Yunnan (Zhongdian)
Commonly found in oak thickets and thorn bushes in mountainous areas at an altitude of 2200-4300 meters. Distributed from southern Gansu through Sichuan to northwestern Yunnan and southeastern Tibet.
Form
The upper feathers from forehead to tail are brown with tea yellow, the tail is brown, and the outer edge is chestnut brown; the front of the eyes is black, the chin to the chest is pink and white, with black axial stripes, and the center of the abdomen is almost white. The beak is brown, and the lower beak is lighter; the feet are light brown.
