Details
White-speckled Laughingthrush is a species endemic to southwestern China.
The habits of the White-speckled Laughingthrush are little known. Some authors classify this species as a subspecies of the Spot-backed Laughingthrush. Globally vulnerable (Collar et al1994).
Listed in the first level of the "List of National Key Protected Wildlife in China".

Location
It is not common in the Lijiang area of northwest Yunnan and neighboring southwest Sichuan. It lives in bamboo thickets in coniferous forests and secondary forests at an altitude of 3050-3650 meters.
Form
Similar to the Spotted Laughingthrush, but the back feathers are black at the lower tip and white at the tip, the base color of the throat, upper chest and flanks is obviously darker, the sides of the neck and upper back have white spots, and the lower body has white spots. The difference from the Great Laughingthrush and the Eyed Laughingthrush is that the head does not have black, the body is smaller and the lower body has white spots.
