Butterflies like to fly around in the flowers, not because the flowers are beautiful, but because the flowers contain nectar, which is the butterfly's favorite food.
In addition, there is another reason to attract butterflies to flowers, which is to prepare food for their offspring. Most of the butterfly eggs are laid on flowering plants, so that when the eggs develop into caterpillars, they can immediately suck sweet nectar. Don't think that butterflies are harming flowers by doing this. While sucking nectar, they can also help flowers pollinate and fertilize.
