In the Jurassic, dinosaurs reached their peak, with many species and extremely large sizes. For example, the famous Diplodocus lived in the Jurassic. It is one of the largest known land animals, with a length of more than 30 meters.
In the Cretaceous, although the number of dinosaurs did not decrease, their number began to gradually decrease. This period is also an important node in the history of life evolution, because it marks the end of the Age of Dinosaurs and the rise of mammals.
