How did dinosaurs come into being?

Dinosaurs gradually emerged through the process of life evolution. They first appeared in the late Triassic period about 230 million years ago, and gradually evolved into many different species and forms over time.

Currently, there are two main theories about the origin of dinosaurs:

1. Branching of dinosaurs and reptiles: Some scientists believe that dinosaurs evolved from another existing branch of reptiles. Most of the animals in this branch are quadrupeds, like modern crocodiles or lizards, and dinosaurs are one of them. They gradually evolved into giant animals that walked on two legs.

2. Branching of dinosaurs and birds: Some scientists believe that dinosaurs originated from small bird-like reptiles that had wings, feathers and other features, sometimes called "Avialae". Dinosaurs may have evolved further from some animals in this branch.

In short, the birth of dinosaurs is a long process of life evolution, and its specific details still need to be revealed through research in fossil records and genetics.
