The badger (English name: civet cat) is a kind of mammal belonging to the order Carnivora and the family Meerkatidae. It is more common in southern China and Southeast Asia, mainly living in forests or hilly areas. Badgers usually have gray-brown bodies, short hair, small heads, and obvious cone-shaped noses. They are good at climbing and swimming, and also have strong nocturnal activity.

The badger is an omnivorous animal that mainly feeds on small mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, fruits, etc. Its living habits are relatively secretive, usually active at night, and hiding in caves in the grass or trees during the day. Because the fur of the badger is soft and delicate, it has been used by humans to make high-end fur products in history.

It should be noted that although the badger looks cute, they are wild animals. In some areas, the number of badger has been threatened, so it is not recommended to capture or raise badger privately. At the same time, we should also pay attention to protecting wildlife resources and avoid illegal hunting or trading.
