The insectivorous fly finch (Mellisuga helenae) is the smallest known bird. Also known as the Cuban hummingbird, they are a bird found only in Cuba. Adult insectivorous fly finches usually weigh only 2 to 3 grams and are only about 5.5 centimeters in length, making them very small and exquisite. Because it is as small as a hummingbird, it is named "hummingbird".
Insect-eating fly finches are typical bee birds, and their main food sources are pollen and nectar. Their mouths are long and slender, allowing them to suck nectar through flowers. This small bird is very agile, can hover and fly in the air, and can vibrate its wings very fast. Its wings can vibrate more than 80 times per second, which is very amazing.
