Food storage animals generally refer to species that are able to store large amounts of food during spring and summer for consumption during winter or periods of drought. Here are a few common food storage animals:

1. Squirrel: Squirrel is a small mammal that likes to collect and store nuts, seeds and other food. They usually collect large amounts of nuts such as pine cones and acorns in autumn, and then bury these foods underground or hide them in tree holes for consumption in the winter.

2. Ants: Some ants will store large amounts of food such as seeds, fruits and insect eggs of various plants in summer. They usually carry this food to their nests where they sort and store it for emergencies.

3. Rodents: Many rodents are also good at storing food, such as gerbils, beavers, etc. They usually collect various nuts, grains and other food during harvest seasons and store them in their nests.

4. Millipedes: Some millipedes are also experts at storing food. They will collect various plant debris and decayed plant matter in spring and summer for consumption in winter or drought periods.

It should be noted that animals that store food are mainly found in temperate and cold zones, because climate changes in these areas are more obvious, so these animals need to accumulate enough food during harvests to cope with winter or other extreme weather conditions.
