Puppies can start receiving vaccinations within a few weeks of birth. The following is a generally recommended puppy vaccine schedule:

1. First dose of vaccine (usually at 6-8 weeks of age): This is usually the first dose of a combination vaccine that the puppy receives, including immunization against diseases such as canine distemper, parvovirus, infectious hepatitis and parainfluenza.

2. Second dose of vaccine (usually at 10-12 weeks of age): After the first dose of vaccine, the puppy will need a second dose a few weeks later. This helps strengthen their immunity.

3. Third dose of vaccine (usually at 14-16 weeks of age): After the second dose of vaccine, the puppy may need a third dose. This helps ensure it gets enough immunity.

Additionally, some areas may require rabies vaccination. Rabies vaccination is usually given within a certain time period after the above vaccine series.

Please note that the above schedule is a guide only and actual vaccine schedules may vary based on region, veterinary recommendations and your dog’s specific needs. Best practice is to talk to your veterinarian and use their advice and guidance to determine when your puppy is suitable for vaccination.
