Will ants recognize their owners after being raised for a long time?

Ants are social insects with a high degree of organization and division of labor in their colonies. Although ants can establish a certain degree of interaction with humans, they do not have the ability to recognize their owners.

Ants communicate primarily through chemical signals, using pheromones to convey information, mark paths and identify fellow species. When you interact with ants, they may react to your scent, but that doesn't mean they actually know you as a host.

Ants focus more on their own groups and tasks, and they follow complex social structures and behavioral rules. Their behavior is primarily influenced by internal factors (such as pheromones) and the external environment, rather than the presence of individual humans.

Still, you can observe the ants' food and environment preferences and attract them by providing the right food and conditions. But this interaction is based more on the ants' instincts and biological needs than on a cognitive or emotional connection to individual humans.

In short, ants do not really recognize their owners. They are more focused on their own social groups and tasks.
