Angelfish is also called swallow fish, white swallow fish or angel fish. A popular ornamental fish, the breeding process requires specific conditions and care. Here are some common breeding methods for angelfish:

1. Pair selection: Select adult angelfish pairs suitable for breeding. It is best to choose a pair that is healthy, active and has good appearance.

2. Breeding environment: Provide a suitable breeding environment for angel fish. This includes an appropriately sized breeding aquarium with water temperature controlled at 78-82°F (25-28°C), good water quality (pH between 6.5-7.0, moderate hardness), and provision of adequate shelter and vegetation.

3. Nest building and spawning: Angelfish usually build their own nests. Provide appropriate nest building materials such as a flat hard surface such as large rocks, ceramic discs or compressed fish foam. Male angelfish will guard and attract females around the nest. Once the nest is built, the female will lay her eggs inside the nest.

4. Incubation period: The eggs need to be hatched by both male and female angelfish. Incubation temperatures are usually between 80-82°F (27-28°C). The incubation period is usually 2-3 days, and the eggs hatch into fragile juvenile fish.

5. Young fish care: After hatching, the young fish will stay near the nest. During this stage, the male angelfish continues to protect and care for the young, such as removing remaining egg shells and maintaining water flow.

6. Artificial hatching: If you want to improve the survival rate of young fish, you can choose artificial hatching. Move the eggs into an incubator, provide appropriate water temperature and quality conditions, and provide appropriate feed for the young fish.

It is important to note that the angelfish breeding process requires specific environment and care, and success is not guaranteed every time. When trying to breed angelfish for the first time, it is recommended to obtain relevant information and guidance to ensure the best conditions and pay attention to the behavior of the fish and the progress of the breeding to increase the chance of success.
