Location
It is found in the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula and throughout the African continent south of the Sahara Desert (Tropic of Cancer).
Form
The total length is about 35cm, the tail feathers are thin and long, accounting for half of the body length, and the weight is about 57g. Upper body brown, lower body brown. The head is grayish brown, the head feathers are soft, and the ear feathers are white. Upper beak black, lower beak yellow or red. The feet are red, and unlike the feet of other four-toed birds, their toes are extended forward so that they can easily grasp branches when perching.
