Thread-footed perch is also known as hairy-footed perch, commonly known as big spaceship, Indian flying fish, big walnut, and three-star manlong fish.

There are black spots in the center of the body, at the base of the tail fin and between the eyeballs of the Threadfoot Bass, so it is called the "Three-Star Manlong" in the ornamental fish world. The body color is gorgeous, especially the male fish during the reproductive season, which is even more beautiful. This kind of fish inhabits the still water environment of ponds and ditches in the natural environment. The natural conditions in the distribution area are poor, so it has strong adaptability and strong physique. Generally, the water temperature is around 26°C, and the water quality can be neutral or slightly acidic. When raised in captivity, the optimal water temperature is 23-28°C. It has a gentle temperament and is easy to raise. During breeding, some aquatic plants should be placed in the aquarium to help them build bubble nests and lay eggs. Because it has the habit of big fish eating small fish and weak fish, large and small fish cannot be kept in the same aquarium.

The thread-footed perch is smaller, with an adult body length of 100-150 mm. Distributed in Xishuangbanna, my country and throughout Southeast Asia.
