2023-04-17 03:41:16 192

Thin-spined fish has flat sides and is covered with tiny scales. The head is small, the mouth is small, and the snout is slightly pointed. The teeth in both jaws are small. The operculum membrane heals and is not connected to the isthmus. The body is yellow with 5-6 stripes. The fin membrane on the upper part of the dorsal fin spine is black and extends to the front half of the fin ray. This species is often mistaken for a type of butterfly fish.

Small warm water fish. The body length is generally around 90 mm, which is rare and limited in number. Distributed in the warm shallow waters of the tropical Pacific. Found in the Yellow Sea, East China Sea and South China Sea in my country.
