The male has a hairy head, a very thick upper jaw, and bifurcations at the tip and above. The antennae are thick and long, extending approximately to the end of the elytra. Each section from the third to the end is rough and granular on the top, and densely covered with fine teeth on the bottom. There is no female luster on the surface of the pronotum. The six pink hair spots are slightly dimpled and nearly parallel on both sides. The serrations are extremely small except for the front horn teeth. The base of the elytra is almost as wide as the front and back of the thorax.
