1. Scottish Fold:
In 1951, a female cat gave birth to a litter of kittens with folded ears on a farm in the UK. The owner of the female cat gave some of the kittens to a local shepherd for raising, and after witnessing the kittens' folded ears, the shepherd decided to try to stabilize this new breed. Because this breeding program was carried out in Scotland, the kittens bred were the ancestors of what is now called "Scottish Fold". Although Scottish Folds are basically short-haired cats, they carry long-haired genes. Long-haired Scottish Folds continued to appear during the breeding process, and in a cat show in 1987, long-haired Scottish Folds won and finally became another breed.

4. Non-purebred cats:
Non-purebred cats are generally not easily recognized as breeds, and their appearance may be very complicated. Because there are no restrictions on breeding, the coat patterns vary greatly. It is impossible to make a meaningful classification based on facial features. Of course, in a certain area, there has been a phenomenon of inbreeding between related non-purebred cats, so there are many similarities between them. Then these natural characteristics can be strengthened through selective breeding, and new breeds have emerged. The latest Singapore cat evolved in this way.
