Messenger birds usually refer to homing pigeons, which are ancient and widely used birds that are trained to be fast messengers that can carry small messages or items to their destinations. The training history of homing pigeons can be traced back to the ancient Greek and Roman times, and to this day, they are still widely used in military, competition and leisure fields.

There are two main varieties of homing pigeons: rock pigeons and literary pigeons. Rock pigeons are mainly distributed in Europe, North Africa and West Asia, and have a relatively ordinary appearance; while Wen pigeons are a beautiful white bird. They are adaptable and good at flying, and are also a relatively common homing pigeon species.

It should be noted that training and raising homing pigeons requires certain skills and experience, and proper diet, shelter and training environment need to be provided to ensure that they function healthily and safely. In addition, in some countries and regions, the breeding and use of homing pigeons may be restricted by laws and regulations. You should understand the relevant local regulations before raising and using them.
