The title "King of Beasts" may have different interpretations and meanings in different cultures. In some Western cultures, the lion is regarded as the "king of beasts", while in Chinese culture, the tiger is given a similar symbolic meaning.

From a biological point of view, lions and tigers are both big cats, and both possess great strength and majestic images. However, there are obvious differences between the two animals in terms of body structure, appearance characteristics, and living habits.

Lions are generally more social and gregarious than tigers, and they are also slightly larger than tigers, with stronger heads and teeth. Therefore, lions have been endowed with symbolic meanings such as courage, glory, and social interaction in some cultures, and they often appear in art and literary works as representatives of wild animals.

In contrast, the tiger is regarded as a symbol of mystery, might, confidence and independence. In ancient Chinese culture, the tiger was once a very important totem and deity, and also appeared widely in folk stories and legends. Therefore, in Chinese culture, the tiger is often given the symbolic meaning of "King of Beasts" or "King of Mountains and Forests".
