The difference between turtle and turtle

Both turtles and turtles belong to the same group of reptiles, but they have some biological differences:

Habitat and Habits: Softshell turtles tend to live in freshwater environments such as rivers, lakes and swampy areas, where they spend most of their time in the water. Turtles live in a variety of habitats, with some species living in freshwater, saltwater, or on land.

Morphological characteristics: Softshell turtles usually have a relatively flat back shell and webbed feet, which help them swim in the water. In contrast, turtles usually have more convex dorsal shells and legs better suited for walking on land.

Food habits: The food habits of turtles and turtles are also different. Generally speaking, soft-shell turtles feed more on aquatic plants and aquatic insects, while turtles are more omnivorous, feeding on plants, small animals or crustaceans in shallow water.

Although soft-shell turtles and tortoises share the above distinctions, their classification is sometimes ambiguous depending on region or language. In some places, people may use these two words to refer to the same or similar animals.
