British zoologists have judged through research that many large four-legged sauropod dinosaurs were indeed slow-moving "stupid", walking at a speed of only about 1 meter per second, which is similar to the speed of human walking. The tracks of very large bipedal dinosaurs indicate that they generally walked at no more than 2.2 meters per second, which is about the same speed as humans walking quickly. The footprints of smaller bipedal dinosaurs weighing around 500 kilograms (about the size of a racehorse) show that they could run at a speed of 12 meters per second, which is already faster than the human 100-meter race champion. speed (11 meters per second), but is still significantly slower than the running speed of a horse (about 15 to 17 meters per second). The Triceratops, which looks somewhat similar to the white rhinoceros on the African grasslands today, could run as fast as 9 meters per second, which is equivalent to the level of a 100-meter runner among humans.
