In front of the dorsal line of the white-striped sawfish, there is a broad milky-white band surrounded by a narrow black edge that extends diagonally downward, passing through the posterior edge of the eye and reaching the back of the interopercular bone. It is a small warm-water fish that lives in coral reef areas, symbiotically with large anemones, and eats small metavertebrates. Its body length is generally 33 to 94 mm. Distributed in the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. Our country is found in the South China Sea.
