The breeding of the lion cat is closely related to the spread of Islam and the opening of the canal; it is the offspring of the Persian cat (the so-called traditional Angora cat) and the Lusi civet cat.
The lion cat, also known as the Linqing lion cat, is mainly produced in Linqing City, Shandong Province. Among the many varieties, the snow lion with one blue eye, one yellow eye and white hair mopping the ground is the most precious. People call it the "mandarin duck eye lion cat". The back hair of a cat with a bloodline close to purebred cannot be less than 5 cm - the so-called three inches (16 inches in the old system). The tail hair of a cat with Linqing lion cat bloodline must be longer than 15 cm. If it is less than 15 cm, it is an ordinary long-haired cat, regardless of whether it has mandarin duck eyes or not.
Lion cats are endowed with magical superstitious legends. It is said that keeping such a cat at home can ward off evil spirits and bring good luck to the family. Lion cats have always been high-priced and top-quality cats in the pet market because of their unique image. More importantly, a lion cat with excellent appearance is very rare.
Lion cats' hair is not only difficult to take care of, but also sheds very seriously. They are simply walking dandelions. After raising a lion cat, there is hair everywhere in the house, and the food and water you eat and drink are all covered with cat hair. Many people can't accept it. When lion cats use their tongues to clean their bodies, if they swallow too much shed hair, it may cause gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases. This problem is common in animals with abundant hair and well-developed fur, so they need to be combed frequently.
Protect wild animals and eliminate game.
