     Mountain Myotis bats often live in damp and ventilated caves or tunnels, but also have been reported to live in tree holes and eaves, and often gather in groups of dozens to hundreds of individuals. They've been found hibernating in the crevices of canals and tunnels. It feeds on hymenoptera and diptera.


    It is distributed in Sichuan, Yunnan, Xizang, Guangdong and Taiwan in China. It is widely distributed abroad in South and Southeast Asian countries.

The hair on the head and back is dark brown, and the tip is yellowish brown. The hairs on the abdomen are gray and white.
