Pipistrellus coromandra

      Pipistrella indiensis is a small to medium sized Pipistrella. It lives in mountains, plains and other places, appears between buildings, and is also found in primitive forest areas. Tibet was caught in a tree hole.

     Pipistrellus coromandra portensis (Pipistrellus coromandra portensis) was named by J. Allen in 1906.  This species is found in Hainan Province.

    Pipistrellus coromandra tramatus of India, named by Thomas in 1928.  This species is found in Vietnam.

    According to 87 Pipistrellus specimens collected in Sichuan Province, Pipistrellus pipistrellus, P. Savii and P. ormandra of India were found to be new records in Sichuan Province.

It is distributed in Guangdong, Hainan, Fujian, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Tibet and other places in China. Foreign distribution in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and so on.
It's small. Forearm length 31-34mm. Weight 4-6g. The ear is small and thin, the end is more round, the outer base is not carved, the tragus is long. The tip of the dorsal hair is ochre yellow or ochre, the base is dark brown; The ventral hair is brown, and the posterior ventral hair is lighter. The tail length is similar to the body length, and the end protrudes about 1mm extrafemur.
