The yellow-spotted swallow ray has 13 dorsal fins, 10 anal fins, 25 dorsal fin anterior scales, and the lateral line is located on the ventral side. There are small conical teeth in the upper and lower jaws, arranged in a narrow band, and the hip bones are small. There are some fine teeth. The pectoral fins are very wide, and there is a wide yellow oblique band in the middle of the pectoral fins.
Warm water pelagic fish. It often jumps out of the water and glides a certain distance in the air with its wide pectoral fins extended.
Distributed in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific. Our country is produced in the South China Sea and the southern part of the East China Sea.
