Have you ever seen a golden mosquito?
According to reports, on August 29, Dalian Customs in Liaoning Province captured four yellow mosquitoes during a port vector biological background survey. They were species that have not been reported to be distributed in Liaoning Province and were captured for the first time.
According to the "Fauna of China" records, the yellow mosquito is distributed in Henan, Shandong, Zhejiang and other provinces in my country and is a medium-sized yellow mosquito.
The middle scutellum, wing scales and abdomen of the yellow mosquito are yellow or golden, and there is a brown ring at the end of each leg segment. It can be found in grass and reeds near the breeding ground.
Many netizens said that this golden mosquito looks like an aristocrat.
It is also worth mentioning that many friends have discovered that there seem to be fewer mosquitoes this year. In fact, it is because the weather is too hot this year.
It is reported that the blood-sucking temperature of Aedes albopictus, which is widely distributed in my country, is generally between 15°C and 40°C. If the temperature is below or above this temperature, it will no longer suck blood.
The optimal blood-sucking temperature is between 25°C and 30°C. If it exceeds 35°C-37°C, it will be inhibited and the frequency of blood-sucking will drop sharply or basically stop.
When the temperature is lower than 10℃, mosquitoes will diapause and enter the overwintering state.
