Goldfish is a popular ornamental fish. The following are the methods and precautions for raising goldfish:

1. Selection of fish tank: Goldfish need a sufficient living space, and the size of the fish tank should be suitable for the number and size of the fish. Each goldfish needs at least 10 gallons (about 38 liters) of water, and the water depth is preferably more than 20 centimeters. The shape of the fish tank is best wide, shallow, and short, which is conducive to the movement of goldfish.

2. Water quality control: Goldfish need a clean and stable water environment. The temperature of the water should be between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius, and the pH value should be between 6.5 and 7.5. Change the water at least once a week, and control the concentration of harmful substances such as acetone and ammonia nitrogen in the fish tank to not exceed the standard to ensure the health of the fish.

3. Reasonable diet: Goldfish are omnivorous fish and need appropriate amounts of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and other nutrients. You can choose special goldfish feed or add vegetables, fruits, insects, etc. as a basis to supplement the diet. Daily feeding should be completed in a short period of time, and care should be taken not to overfeed to avoid affecting the health of the goldfish.

4. Appropriate sunlight exposure: Goldfish need a certain amount of sunlight exposure, which is a necessary condition for the synthesis of vitamin D and so on. But avoid exposure to the sun. Too much sunlight will increase the water temperature and affect the balance of gases in the water. It can be placed in a place that can receive soft natural light or can be artificially supplemented with artificial light.

5. Pay attention to disease prevention and treatment: Goldfish are susceptible to diseases, such as fungal diseases and bacterial infections. When goldfish have abnormal symptoms, timely analysis and appropriate drug treatment should be taken.

In short, raising goldfish requires controlling the size of the fish tank, water quality and diet, and interacting with them with warmth and care to ensure their health. Pay attention to disease prevention and regular observation, maintain the hygiene of the fish tank, and change the water regularly. Raising healthy goldfish requires careful care.
